1st Place: “Couldn’t run last year because I just had cancer surgery. My goal throughout chemotherapy was to run in this race this year. I will be there, wont be fast, but I will be there.” –T.S.
2nd Place:”70 years young, I am returning to walk in the race. It motivates, invigorates, and sublimates my need to sit on a sofa all day and be a couch turkey.”–J.K.

4th Place: “On Thanksgiving Day, Ill be 30 weeks pregnant and want people to know that anyone and everyone should exercise! If I can do a race while 7 months pregnant, than anyone can! No Excuses!!!” –D.E.
