I wear braces on my feet: use a seeing cane to help me see and sometimes my legs hurt when I walk: but I don’t worry about food. There are kids who need food to eat. I can help by walking. – Adam Mody
This fall I will be donating marrow to help someone in need. I am running this race in honor of the individual I am helping in hopes that one day I will see their smile living a long and healthy life. – Robert Shopshear
Last year, I weighed 200 pounds. At 5 foot 2 and only 15, I was considered obese. I decided that it was time to make a change to better my life. I am now 145 pounds. This is my proudest achievement. – Vincent Gomez
At school, I’ve been allowing myself to be bullied into not doing my personal best. My parents encouraged me to participate in the Turkey Trot race as incentive to train and race at my personal best. – Jack Fan

Winners from 2010:
1st Place: “Couldn’t run last year because I just had cancer surgery. My goal throughout chemotherapy was to run in this race this year. I will be there, wont be fast, but I will be there.” –T.S.

This year, the top 4 reasons to trot will be awarded with prizes from HP. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners will all receive an HP printer and the grand prize winner will receive an HP laptop!
